Some of you may be familiar with Japanese developer PlatinumGames from its work on Bayonetta 1 and 2, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, The Wonderful 101, and the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Scalebound. Over the past week or so, some leaks for a new Platinum Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game started to surface online, and now we have official confirmation of the title along with the debut trailer:
While the cell shaded-like graphics of the initial screenshots gave us a good idea of what the game would look like, we now see the turtles in action, along with a decent look at some actual gameplay. It has been a long while since we got an amazing TMNT console title. While it is too early to tell how Mutants in Manhattan will turn out, there is some serious potential here. It looks like we can expect a 4 player animated brawler with what looks to be some awesome boss battles starring iconic villains such as Bebop, Rocksteady, Armaggon and more.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is scheduled to drop for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC sometime this summer. And here are some more screens:
